Who we are

The Warragul Woodworkers Club Inc has been operating for over 25 years. It’s first real home was a converted cow shed hosted by Mr and Mrs Colin Gray. As time as gone on the membership has grown and the space required to work safely and pleasantly required a new home. After a lot of work on the part of members of the club a home was finally found with a lease of the Lillico Tennis courts. The club was able with the aid of grants and a huge fund raising effort by members to build a new work shop on the site and update the old club rooms to meet council requirements.

The Club has been able to outfit the workshop with a good range of woodworking equipment. The new facility had space to work in safety.

The Club has joined the Men’s Shed movement and has benefited from the learnings and interactions with other sheds. The Club has a proud history of supporting its members in the past and provides a supportive environment for its members. The Club has some female members  who add to the richness of our community.

If you are looking to learn some wood working skills, would like to share some skills or just have a friendly interaction with others, please come and visit us at 375 Lillico Rd, Warragul.
